icebreaker proudly partners withImpacTexin New Zealand andUpparelin Australia to address the number of textiles that end up in landfills by reusing or repurposing pre-loved clothing. Used clothing is sorted into items that are wearable, which are passed onto charitable organisations, and pieces that are torn, stained or otherwise unsuitable to donation. The unwearable items are sorted by type of material then processed into usable insulations or cardboard type material – all which can be repurposed again. As a brand, icebreaker acknowledge it’s important to consider the full life cycle of our clothing. By partnering with ImpacTex and Upparel we enable a conscious solution for clothing at the end of its life.
