images misleading: sewn in tags, not reversible

"I should have read the feedback before buying this beanie. you cannot wear it on both sides because it has a sewn in tag. the pictures on the website are misleading: they show the beanie worn on both sides as advertised; what they don't show in the pictures is the ridiculous tag. when i asked customer service about this they just replied, i can cut the tag off so that it doesn't disturb when i wear the beanie. they did not even acknowledge the fact that they mislead customers and expect us to accept the tag to be seen if we want to wear it on both sides. i'm very disappointed. they used to have those beanies without tags that you could actually wear on both sides."

A great little hat

"Got this to serve as a helmet liner/casual hat for the ski hill. Very comfy fits well on my large head and was just thin enough to fit in a helmet on cold days. Truly does fit in a pocket so easy to bring along."

Not Practically Reversible (Misleading)

"The material and fit of the hat is good, though a large white label on the inside of the hat prevents it from being worn reversibly. The label can either be cut short, which still leaves some of the label showing, or removed at the seam which will create a hole in the hat. The hat would be very good if it was not marketed as reversable, unfortunately the colour I wanted was on the inside of the hat, therefore I cannot practically wear the hat reversed. The website images of the reversed hat being worn do not show the label, which is also misleading."

Terrible tag you won't be able to remove

"Treść wiadomości Gemini I like the beanie, but the absolutely idiotic placement of a giant tag—right on the side with the color shown in the photos—means I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and wouldn't buy it again myself. It's not true that the beanie is two-tone, unless you like walking around with a huge white tag flapping in the wind. If you try to remove it, you'll end up with a hole (like me now) because the tag can't be taken off easily. I am terribly disappointed with the product, especially since you could have put it on the "worse" side with the uglier color that isn't shown in the photos as often. I can't believe nobody at Icebreaker thought about this or noticed it."

Tags aren't removable, not reversible

"Agree with others that the tag design is extremely flawed. Icebreaker loves to add 7 tags to their garments and this is no exception -- honestly, what's the point of this? Tags are included with metal rings that can be removed without a trace, so why add MORE tags that can't be easily removed? Anyways, the Icebreaker underwear tags can at least be gently torn out because they are stitched in separately. I can't tell if the tags on this pocket hat are stitched in separately but I'm unwilling to pull on it and run the hat. I see others saying they can't be removed and I'm going to trust that and return. Don't market something as reversible if you're going to slap unremovable tags on one side. Does anyone at Icebreaker actually test these products out?"

Tags ruined it .

"Absolutely NOT reversible, because of the ridiculous sewn in tags. . . Stupidity of the highest order."

"Works as expected. A little smaller than I thought with more seams but still good."

Perfect hat for any kind of activity

"This is super light and super thin but still manages to be incredibly warm. I haven't warn it and just sat around so I can't speak to its warmth at rest but with any kind of movement it warms up pretty immediately. I've been building my collection of Icebreaker 200 (long sleeve longjohns neck gaiter and now hat) and have been so impressed with the warmth. During outdoor activities these layers with just a shell over the top have been enough to keep me warm"

Decent hat but small.

"Hat is very good but not long enough. My head is a 7 but hat doesn’t provide enough coverage for my ear lobes and neck."

I think it is ALMOST time to break out the new one

"Great shoulder season hat. The one pictured is at least 10 years old and has been used on a daily 10 mile commute for about 4 months out of the year. When it started showing signs of hard wear, I ordered a new one. I wanted to make sure I could still get one. That was over 2 years ago now. Nobody has ever accused me of not getting the most out of my merino clothes. I don't worry much about the labels. 😁"
