Reviews

Absolutely love my new running shorts!

"So amazing to find a sports wear product made from natural fibres! I'm so over polyester. Perfect fit; I used the Icebreaker fit guide and it was spot on. Really flattering cut with the short length, but not indiscreet for a more mature lady. Yes, the fabric is not heavy; but it's still of great quality and is breathable when running."

Not sure

"These shorts sit very low at the hip. I am not sure what the internal brief is for. I do not run, just go to the gym now and then to pull some weights and wear dark underwear with the gym kit anyway, so the mesh brief does not seem to serve any practical purpose. Would it not cause chafing in fact? If it is to replace the underwear, should the gusset perhaps be a bit more substantial? I'd also prefer to have side pockets like on my trusty ""chemical"" underarmour shorts. The length is fine but I'd prefer gym shorts to be kind of mid-rise at least, not this low."

Kakou (5/5)

Perfect!

"Love these! I've been replacing my synthetic fabrics with natural. These are great! Super comfortable, soft and flattering. They move well too, great for the gym or just casual activities. I was actually excited to replace my lulu lemon shorts with these!"

Jordy (5/5)

Comfort and function

"I use this for running and just pottering around. Well-placed vented zones keep me cool and comfortable. Pockets for essentials when I'm out for a run."

zone knit merino shorts

"I was very disappointed with the quality of the fabric used in these shorts. having bought a number of icebreaker shorts overtime. this pair was not icebreaker's usual high quality. the outer fabric feels thin and cheap the fit was also too low waisted. I returned them."

Mm (2/5)

Wonderful

"The material on these shorts feels luxurious. I am in between sizes and wear both XS and S. I am 27in. waist, 37in. hip, 117lbs. Both sizes fit at the waist and do not dig in. I like the XS fit better for active sports (running) and the S for lounging, weight lifting, walks, etc."

Missk (4/5)

I wanted these to work

"I was psyched about trying out Icebreaker's running shorts. Unfortunately, these did not work for me. The rise was too low to be comfortable. I also thought that the bottom edge of the shorts was too narrow / stiff and might have limited range of motion."
